TENNIS KIDS LAUNCHES IN RUGBY

Tennis kids launched in Rugby at Harris Sports Centre on Sunday, 28th January.
The morning session saw children from 5 years old to 12 years old,
ranging from beginners to accomplished players, playing against opponents of
their own standard.
All matches were played in a warm sport hall and expert coaching
was on hand to give the children tips on how to improve their game throughout
the session.
Tennis Kids Lucy Ballard said, “So many parents said to us at the
end that it was a relief to play in a warm environment, with plenty of staff to
give instruction to their children.
Everybody also said that the amount of actual hitting time their
children got in half an hour was so much more than they got anywhere else. So
we are really pleased with how it went”.
Tennis Kids aims to provide opportunities for children of all ages
to learn tennis in a fun, warm environment, along with some matchplay.
Lucy said, “Even in the first week we had children who had never
played before but by the end of the session were managing to get the ball
confidently back over the net. The look on the children's faces when they were
able to start rallying was a joy and we can't wait for next week.”
There is still time to sign up your child for next week session at
